About this tincture

Kratom is the common name for the Mitragyna speciosa, a tree native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia. Kratom has a stimulating effect at low doses and a narcotic effect at higher doses.

How does kratom work?

Kratom contains a number of active substances, called alkaloids, the most important of which are mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. Mitragynine is an opiate agonist. That means it has a stimulating effect on the opiate receptors in your brain. So it works similarly to other opiates. Among other things, these receptors influence your mood. Mitragynine binds to these receptors and gives a euphoric relaxed feeling.

Usage

Take 10-15 drops up to 3 times a day.
